My Trips was a travel app aimed at people who need a bit of inspiration on where to travel to next. It allows the user to input how they want to travel, how far, weather, time of year and their budget. After searching they then can swipe between destinations and add or remove places from their ‘Bucket List’. It also had Sky Scanner api integration and would populate each month with the cheapest and most expensive times to travel. You could dive into each destinations attractions and look for hotels, restaurants and more.

The app was a start up I was the designer on with the aim to secure seed funding through investment. We pitched it to several investors but unfortunately Google beat us to it and the app was unfortunately shut down. However, was a great experience and a real eye opener into the very competitive world of startups.
